Silicone Custom Moulded Components: Ring seals, single-wire seals, housing seals, individual inner grommets, etc., are all essential for providing watertight seals that last for the lifetime of the product. These parts must be able to withstand high temperatures without compromising their mechanical properties. Silicone over-moulding to plastic and metal.
Silicone O-Rings: O-rings for high-temperature and medical applications, O-rings with unique geometries are also available.
Silicone Bellows: Extreme temperature resistance makes silicone ideal for any interior or exterior application. Whether it is a complex-shaped component or a simple geometric part, any high-volume part can be manufactured using injection moulding processes
Silicone Seals and Gaskets: For high-temperature conditions, or where exposure to heat may lead to rapid ageing. Silicone seals offer mild oil resistance. For improved oil resistance, fluorosilicone seals should be considered.
Silicone Valves: Valves for WRAS or FDA applications, pressure-actuated components such as backflow valves.
Fluorosilicone Seals and O-Rings: Fluorosilicone is most often used in aerospace applications for systems requiring resistance to fuel and/or diester-based lubricants up to 400°F. Although generally specified for aerospace use due to its excellent fuel resistance and high-temperature stability, fluorosilicone is also becoming an increasingly popular material for a wider range of sealing applications. It features good compression set and resilience properties. Fluorosilicone compounds are suitable for exposure to air, sunlight, ozone, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons.
We can source plastic, rubber and silicone that is flame retardant, chemical resistant, military grade, WRAS / Water Safe / Water Council / British Gas / UL approved, and that complies with Food Quality Standards, Medicine & Healthcare regulations and British Standards. Simply advise your material specification requirements in full at the start of the process and we’ll do the rest.
