Prototype Tooling

Working with you from the pre-production design process will enable us to identify the appropriate prototype tooling methodology (compression, injection, transfer) and material compounding to reduce cost and lead time. We can offer a lead time of 7 - 14 days for new prototype tooling, giving you a quick result and evaluation of the designed product without the expense or lead time associated with a more traditional tool making route.

Injection Moulding

Injection moulding allows you to produce prototype parts in the design intent material in a much lower time frame and cost than conventional tool making. For example; we can supply bolster tools from as little as £200 (dependent on design). A single cavity bolster tool can manufacture up to 5,000 components per annum.

Low Volume Moulding

MRM has a dedicated production cell for low volume mouldings. Our lean, quality committed low volume capabilities enable us to serve customers in a variety of industries with quick changeover tooling to reduce costs and expedite lead times. Ideal for prototyping and one off's.
